Welcome to the Roma Explorers Inn FAQ page, here we list all of those frequently asked questions about our great motel. Please feel free to contact us if your query is not answered here.

The Inn's general facilities

Q: What do I do about cleaning my clothes? Is there a laundry available?
A: Yes, the Inn has an onsite guest laundry, charging $3 per wash and $3 per dry. We also provide a laundering service, charged at $15 per laundry bag (found in each suite). To use this service, simply drop your full laundry bag off at reception before 10am and our friendly staff will have your laundry washed and folded and back to you the same day.

Q: I need to get online but I don’t have a computer, does the Inn have a spare?
A: Yes, we have two computers at reception available to our guests between 6.30 am-9.00pm. Please feel free to ask one of our friendly reception staff for access to one of these machines.

Q: I forgot my toothpaste/soap/laundry detergent etc, where can I get some?
A: The Inn has a small supply at reception that allows for the basics, but please also note that we provide a courtesy amenities pack for all of our guests.

Accommodation

Q: Do I need to bring my own linens for the beds?
A: No, we will supply the suites and apartments with linens.

Q: Does my suite have its own TV and DVD player?
A: Yes, you do have your own TV and the Inn can provide a DVD player to you upon request; as we do not keep them in the suites.

Q: I need to be up early; can you give me a wake up call?
A: Yes, of course, simply leave your details and the time you wished to be woken at reception and we’ll do the rest.

Q: Am I allowed to smoke in the Inn?
A: No, there is no smoking in any of our guest suites or apartments; however there are small breakout areas outside of each suite to accommodate this. Please ask reception if you are unsure.

Q: What happens if I have an extra guest for the night?
A: You are welcome to keep an extra guest overnight for a small charge, an extra adult costs $15 per night and an extra child costs $10 per night. We can also provide you extra cots, at the cost of $10 each, per night.

Q: I require a wheelchair for mobility; can I still stay at your Inn?
A: Yes, of course you can stay. We have two excellent suites designed specifically for your needs, with easy access to and from the motel to your ground floor suite and surrounds. Please ask us at reception if you need more information.

Dining

Q: Do you have a restaurant?
A: Yes, our restaurant is open from 6:00am until 8:30am for breakfast and again from 5:30pm until 9:00pm 7 days a week.

Q: Is there room service available?
A: Yes, we provide room service for breakfast and dinner.

Q: Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast is served?
A: No

Q: Do you cater for special food needs?
A: Yes, please inform the restaurant staff upon booking of your dietary requirements

Q: Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

A: Absolutely

Arriving and Departing from the Inn

Q: How do I arrange a courtesy bus pick-up or delivery to the airport?
A: Simply contact us at reception, with your arrival or departure time, how many of you are travelling and we will look after the rest.

Q: Can I book a late check in?
A: Yes, provided you make a prior arrangement with our reception staff when you reserve your suite. Our standard check in is from 2pm and check out is strictly at 10am.

Q: What is the nearest airport to Roma Explorers Inn?
A: Roma Airport is only 5.3km from the Inn and if you book prior to your arrival, we can arrange for a courtesy bus to pick you up and deliver you to our door.

Q: Is there a train station nearby?
A: No.

Q: Is there a local bus or train service, to get me to and from town?
A: There is no bus line that services the local area; however our main taxi service is Roma Cabs.  You can click on the link provided to contact them directly, or please ask the friendly staff at reception, to book one for you, or you can contact them on (07) 4622 1555.
